Tater D's Birthday Party!

I must say that I really enjoy putting birthday parties together, especially if it is for my little boy. (I can't wait to do one for Noah and Kyle. In fact the plans are starting to swirl around in my head. Hahaha! Plan on a time in May because you know you are already invited.)

Tater wanted a Wall-e theme and Mom wanted him to enjoy time with kids his age. Since he had so much fun at Halloween with the cousins we planned for the party to be at Neema Long's home(aka the hub of family parties). There was no disappointment at all at this party for him.

What about the twins? Well, they were doing their own thing - most likely chewing on something. Thankfully Neema Nali was able to sit near them, but I did catch them in their mischievesness.

It was Neema Nali! She placed Kyle's socks on his hands!

Noah rolled under the table and found Neema Nali's camera bag and started to town on it.

But in the end, the party went very well (even for mama) and I was able to snatch a photo with my boys. Where was dada?

By the toys of course! What a big kid! ;)

Part II - New Camera Man

Lighting

Experienced photographers know that direct light can blacken out the rest of the picture. So here was Tatum's learning moment.

Then again, but with less light(window) and more of the items wanted in the picture frame.

Still Life - Part I
(Of course, it is all of what would interest a toddler boy!)

I like this one of the batman mobile and bike.

Can you guess what four things he likes to do with using the clues in this photo? Hint: It is not reading up on toddlers!

The New Camera Man - Part I

Okay, he is 38 and a half inches tall and takes the coolest pictures. In fact, I should start his own blog site of pictures he takes. :) You'll see below. He started gaining experience beginning with his cousin's camera. LOVED IT! Moved onto camera phones, thanks to Auntie Ani. Tried my camera phone and ended up with little memory to use, so I gave it a shot and lended(?) our digital camera to him to use. He grasped the concept very well. In fact, as my memory serves me, there are no pictures of his fingers blocking the object of shooting. Now remember, he just started and a lot of the pictures are from his points of interests and perspective.

Pictures of People (Mom and brothers)

*Notice how horizontally the pictures are in relation to the people.

"Bug's Perspective"(Or Tater D's perspective)

Yep, that is our ceiling by our front door. :)

There is so much more but I will have to do a little at a time, since this only allowed me to upload 5 pics at the time I uploaded these ones. So until later . . . I'm off to bed.

Side by side, together

Hearts entwined
Twenty fingers, twenty toes,
two sweet babies with cheeks of rose.
Born on the same day, two gifts from above,
lives entwined, two babies to love.

Oh No! No, No.

Here it is, well at least one piece of evidence that my house will never be the same now that my babies are mobile.

It's Dog Pile Time!

One night our living room was clean and well, for once it felt like we had lots of room to roll around. So we did! This is just one of those times that you are glad that you own a camera.
