Time filler

After a night of Taco Time dinner, we put our creativity to work.
And POUFF! Our green Shrek version appeared!

My helper!

This is how much Tatum helps me. He watches out for his brothers, especially if they are going somewhere where they are not suppose to be. Isn't he a trooper? All I have to say is, "I couldn't do it without you kiddo!"

Paper = Fiber, right?

So every mom jokes! But really, isn't paper apart of our diet somewhere? He, he, he

Well, these two love it and also enjoy tossing it up in the air so that it will rain back onto their heads.

Future Moms

Seeing that today is Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Day!) I thought these would be cute.

Every time we go down to visit the girl cousins my boys fall as preys to them and become their play babies. Kaylene to Tatum, and now the twins to Paige.

At least they are kept well fed!

I'm just mean!

Okay, as a mom, you do everything you can to keep the babies out of the bathroom (for many reasons). One of those reasons is to save that precious roll of toilet paper. I went looking for the twins and heard laughter coming from the bathroom and snuck in to check on them. I already had a feeling of what they were up to and sure enough I was right. So I purposely got ready to give them the most upsetting voice I had to get mad at them for what they were doing, plus have the camera ready to snap those unforgettable moments.

Although, Kyle is in the top picture above by himself they were both there.

But, when I had asked who had started it first Kyle began to wail. Doesn't the guilty one always give it away first?

Noah, well he never did cry and left pretty quickly once he heard Kyle take the fall. Believe me though, he was there so he was punished too. :)

What is so fun about that?

I don't know about your babes, but ours . . well, they just love our curtains. It is an everyday ritual for them. The best is they will sit there and make each other laugh. Tatum did it when he was little too and still does it, especially in part to entertain his brothers or to just be apart of what they are doing.

A part of every kid's memory

I have to include this, because who hasn't had to stop in the mall to wait for your daughter, son, or grandaughter, grandson. Tatum just loves the coin machines whether it be the rides, the small toys, or the candy machines.

Life needs to slow down!

Don't you wish sometimes that life would slow down just enough for you to get better, take a breath, and be better prepared.

First off, I have been wanting to post so badly lately, BUT our computer needed a major overhaul done to it. I mean that even our internet pages were no longer pulling up and we kept getting virus pop windows saying this and that and gibbish, gibbish (computer lingo). So we called our favorite tech guy and he performed miracles from heaven to get us going again(really, it probably was just the basic stuff, but Shawn and I are so far from trusting ourselves with computers). Thus, the almost complete absecnce of updated posts for a month. Sorry! :(

Secondly, when you make a life decision that effects the whole family many more decisions start to pop up left and right. So that ended up keeping me and the kids away from our home for a period of three weeks.

Third, upon our arrival back home we began to battle new illnesses. The twins had just finished theirs the week before we came back, so it was Tatum's turn the week we got home, and guess who got it during the next week. I did! I have been so blessed to not have gotten this way for the past year and a half since I was carrying the twins and having to care for them and big brother literally every second of the day. But man, can I tell you I never thought I was going to be able to get my head above the water again. Dishes piled up, toys stayed scattered on the floor, and many times we had quick easy meals, aka cereal.

Well, final the dishes were ALL washed tonight and we are prepared that far for this upcoming week. The boys' clothes are all washed and the living room got cleaned somewhat. Yet, there is still more to do and I hope that we can all get ready for our next trip this coming weekend.

The joy that we are looking forward to is and I have to say it out loud, we are down to a week and a half until we stop buying formula! $25 formula cans will be replaced with $2 gallon milk. And with simple calculations, we will begin to save way more money soon. Wooo-hooo! Hip, Hip, Hooray!
