An Evening Chuckle
One evening this July, Kyle took an adventure outside his crib. He was suppose to be in his crib laying asleep. Doing our nigthly check before we went to bed ourselves, we found Kyle missing from his crib. Here is where we found him.

Just Like Mama!
This is a summer story, but none the less so cute to write about. I had gotten a bike this summer for a birthday gift. As the family took turns riding around the yard, Kyle wanted to start riding to. He got on his push bike. Mama got on her bike to take a quick ride down the road. I didn't realize that he was wanting to go until I was on the street side and heard him crying and tugging his bike as quick as he can towards me. He wanted to go, but could not be as fast as mom's pedal bike.
After I came back, I leaned my bike up against the garage and later saw this:
I pointed it out to Shawn and just smiled the biggest smile ever.
To this day, Kyle has learned to pedal a bike. Slow, but doing it. It is so exciting to see that he got it before the cold weather came.

Monument Valley - Part II
While we were visiting the park, the boys wanted to be boys. They were wanting to climb and jump on everything they could get on. Here are some fun pictures I did with Tay. He loved showing off for me. Of course, the twins wanted to follow along and be like big brother. So they each have a picture of them jumping too.

Monument Valley - Part I
Aunt Ani came to visit us all the way from NYC and we just had to show her the beauty that we lived so close to. So here are a few pictures from that trip.

This is a very fitting picture because Tay is very much a runner. He surprised us this summer by running around a track field - a little over a mile and in sandals none the less.

This is Tay with his Neema Nali.

Tay's T-ball experience
Tay had a wonderful time participating in a community sport event with his cousins. We were able to work it out that all three could be on the same team. Many times that they played a game we had a chilling wind that kept us all chattering. Although it was cold and Tay seem to always had to go to the potty there- when there was none available- we had an enjoyable time watching him and the others learn the game of baseball. It was just so funny to watch. He ran backwards heading to third base one time. He ran after the ball after he hit the ball with the bat. And joined the rest of the team in trying to catch the ball. How many little ones does it take to pick up a small ball? Many in this case. :) He learned a lot and can't wait to play again.

Waiting for the ball.

Get it, get it, get it. Yeah!

Throw the ball now to first base. (This didn't always happen and instead it would be thrown to home plate, over the head of the first base man (who wasn't paying attention) or just held it. Tay was a very good thrower.)

Tay's turn to bat. (He rarely missed the ball.)

Future baseball players!

Easter Eggs, you better run 'cause here we come!
Pajama time!
I am sooo happy that Shawn took this picture because it is exactly what it is like in the evenings. The boys just find a seat near me and sometimes even try to find the exact same spot someone else is already occupying. Yes, the twins still fit on my lap. And yes, they are still my babies. I keep telling Shawn that I don't want them to grow up. I love raising my boys.
I know, I know, I know!
It has been a lllllooooonnnnnggg time since I posted about our family. With a mommy busy teaching and a daddy busy with school the kids just go from here to there and do it all with a smile on their faces. Somehow it all works together and our family is lucky to have Heavenly Father's help in keeping our family together.
When we have the time, we try to do the things that our boys like to do. One of those things is just to be outside. They ride bikes, go on walks, pick up whatever is on the ground and find some joy in it, and play on playground equipment. Here is our Easter weekend visit to the park.
Tayden, the wonderful cousin who will play with Tatum and deal with his various "let's do ...." phrases, came along and had fun with all the boys. The "let's do" this time was to race up the ladders and race down the slides to be the first down. Here is Tatum on one of those times.
Noah followed suit and went down the slides to.
He is the more relaxed one about being on the playsets vs. Kyle who inches his way up and down the three steps until he builds enough courage. This is funny because Kyle is the one who climbs on everything else in our home.
I tried to get them all together but the playground was much funner to be doing at the time.
