Monument Valley - Part II

While we were visiting the park, the boys wanted to be boys. They were wanting to climb and jump on everything they could get on. Here are some fun pictures I did with Tay. He loved showing off for me. Of course, the twins wanted to follow along and be like big brother. So they each have a picture of them jumping too.

Monument Valley - Part I

Aunt Ani came to visit us all the way from NYC and we just had to show her the beauty that we lived so close to. So here are a few pictures from that trip.

This is a very fitting picture because Tay is very much a runner. He surprised us this summer by running around a track field - a little over a mile and in sandals none the less.

Tay's T-ball experience

Tay had a wonderful time participating in a community sport event with his cousins. We were able to work it out that all three could be on the same team. Many times that they played a game we had a chilling wind that kept us all chattering. Although it was cold and Tay seem to always had to go to the potty there- when there was none available- we had an enjoyable time watching him and the others learn the game of baseball. It was just so funny to watch. He ran backwards heading to third base one time. He ran after the ball after he hit the ball with the bat. And joined the rest of the team in trying to catch the ball. How many little ones does it take to pick up a small ball? Many in this case. :) He learned a lot and can't wait to play again.

Throw the ball now to first base. (This didn't always happen and instead it would be thrown to home plate, over the head of the first base man (who wasn't paying attention) or just held it. Tay was a very good thrower.)

Okay, it is May but where is the warm weather?

We went on a walk and had to bundle up. I was freezing and well the family looked like this.

In May. . .

The twins celebrated two years. I think they did. :) No, we are ten. (Mom thinks they act like it some days) No, it's eight. (This is how it goes with these two.) We will just have to tell them it was their second birthday when they get older. Hee, hee! They love Curious George and well, he was the theme of their party. It was a cold windy day, with some sun and warmth. All in all they had all their cousins there from their mom's side and loved it to no end.
